Towell Auto Group is one of the six strategic pillars of business for the WJ Towell Group, and in Oman is consolidated under Towell Auto Group represented by Towell Auto Centre, Eint Automotive & ORBIT Car Rental & lease which combine to constitute the one-stop solution for all automotive services; namely auto brands, after sales services, auto leasing & renting and automotive after-market products under one house of trust.

Towell Auto Centre – Amongst the pioneers in the automobile business in Oman since 1972, Towell Auto Centre (TAC) celebrates 50 plus years of being recognized as a trusted name in all automotive related products & services and aims to be the one-stop centre in this segment. TAC takes off from the principle of its parent company and ensures the easy availability of high quality motor products coupled with the highest standard of service to its esteemed customers.

With every market strategy and business dealing TAC reinforces these focal points and moves a step closer to prosperity for Towell and the global brands it represents in Oman. Customer Satisfaction

At the core of all TAC’s activities lies their firm belief in customer delight, with a clear goal to build lasting relationships and get “Closer to the Customer”. The company’s new product launches and expansion of infrastructure and network also stems from the attempt to reach out to more and more customers.

TAC also has a dedicated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) cell that reaches out to 500 customers daily through various activities for sales and service such as – Pre & Post Sales feedback calls, service reminders and post service feedback calls to name a few. Their customer service evaluation curve has shown a steady increase since its inception, and the company has also won the Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Award which is a benchmark survey within the 4A markets (45 countries).

Employee Retention

Even within the company, TAC maintains a principle of closeness and solidarity; and it’s no wonder that the company’s employee retention is one of the highest. At TAC, constant emphasis is laid on training and career development of staff; and a well-crafted selection criterion along with a detailed training program to help ensure that young Omanis with potential are identified and suitably trained to work in various departments of the company

Its ability to balance long term brand growth in market share while being profitable is a mix that existing partners cherish. Most of the brands represented in Oman have a happy and fruitful relationship with TAC for many years.

TAC represents Mazda Cars, Geely Cars, Higer Buses, JAC Trucks & International Trucks in the automotive arena.

TAC provides a single window access to some of the other global automotive related brands like Bridgestone tyres, Bandag retread, Alliance tyres, TOTAL lubricants & Antara batteries, Hofmann garage equipments, Heyco garage tools and GIS compressors to name a few.

Over the years TAC has bagged many accolades for the brands it represents. In the case of Mazda, TAC has elevated the Mazda brand to become one of the strongest consumer brands in Oman, and has been awarded the highly coveted ‘Superbrands’ title, the first for Mazda in the GCC. The ‘Mazda Global CRM’ and ‘Mazda Global Customer Service’ awards both have been conferred to TAC by the Mazda Motor Corporation, Japan, and have been won for TAC’s outstanding customer relationship and service management. It is also worthwhile to note that TAC is the only distributor in the world to win the ‘Mazda Global CRM Award’ thrice in 2008, 2009 and 2011; and the ‘Mazda Global Customer Service Award’ for five years in a row in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Adding one more feather to its committed approach to its brands, TAC bagged the Geely Best Distributor award for the GCC region 2013 & quite recently Towell Auto Centre won Geely’s Best Corporation Award 2016 for Spare Parts Operation Management. This is also testimony to the growing popularity of Geely Cars in Oman.

Similar accolades have been won by Bridgestone and TOTAL on various occasions as well.
