Its ‘Workhorse’ brand is one of the leading chassis manufacturers for motor homes and commercial step vans. Navistar products, parts and services are sold through a network of nearly 1,000 dealer outlets in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Mexico with more than 60 dealers in 90 countries throughout the world. Navistar currently operates six manufacturing plants in North America. The company builds heavy-duty trucks in Chatham, Ontario (Canada); medium-duty trucks in Springfield, Ohio (United States); severe service, heavy-duty and military vehicles in Garland, Texas (United States); and medium, heavy and severe service trucks in Escobedo, Mexico. School buses and commercial buses are built in Conway, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company’s truck development and technology center is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
